How do I become an RCIC?

If you want to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Complete the Graduate Diploma Program ( or the  offered in French by the University of Montréal);
  • Apply to write the RCIC Entry-to-Practice Exam (EPE), which includes submitting a scanned copy of a valid government-issued photo identification (ID);
  • Successfully pass the EPE; and
  • Follow the licensing process to obtain your licence.

Once you are licensed, you must meet the College's requirements and complete the Ongoing Education for RCICs, including the .

IPPs are no longer accredited by the College.
